BY CONTINUING TO COME THROUGH OUR DOORS… YOU’VE KEPT OURS OPEN, MEMPHIS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND $2,229.99 RAISED FOR THE MIDSOUTH FOOD BANK!
This fall, our family restaurant tradition was blessed to celebrate 111 years in Memphis. We are beyond grateful to have the privilege of serving you the same recipes that have sustained us for more than a century, and we are humbled to do so in this chaotic climate.
Throughout this COVID pandemic, it is YOUR loyalty that has allowed us to continue to serve you with the same commitment to our Italian culinary tradition and Southern hospitality. Whether you’ve dined in our restaurant, on our patio, picked up curbside, enjoyed our traveling van across the Mid-South, or had your Grisanti’s delivered to your door, you have kept our cooks cooking, servers serving and hostesses hosting in a prolonged season of joblessness for so many. We are among the most fortunate in the restaurant industry nationwide because of patrons like YOU.
We are acutely aware that the same City of Memphis that has allowed us to thrive and raise our children in the greatest place on earth is hurting as much as ever. That’s why at the beginning of October, we promised to donate $1.11 in honor of 111 years for each dine-in guest to the MidSouth Food Bank.
A city that boasts some of the best cuisine in the United States is also a place where one in five children before the pandemic were food insecure. That’s not right.
Thanks to those who have been able to come through our doors, we’re not only keeping the doors open in a difficult time…but trying- with your help- to help our hometown. More than 2,000 of you enjoyed our dining room this October….in addition to the other thousands who enjoyed our food at home. Because of you, we are delighted to give $2,229.99 to the MidSouth Food Bank.
Thank you.
With your family’s help, our family has served Memphis through Prohibition, the Great Depression, World Wars, the Strife here in the late 1960s, the Recession, and deaths of Grisanti culinary giants.
We don’t plan to stop now, and we pray that all of us- local businesses and local Memphians- can come through this current challenge better and stronger.
Know that we continue to ask for God’s blessings of health and peace upon you and your family. Thank you. Ci vediamo presto.
Con amore,
