The roots of the Grisanti culinary tradition date to 1505 in Valdottavo, an Italian village near Lucca. My great-grandfather, Rinaldo Grisanti, emigrated from northern Italy in 1909 in pursuit of the American Dream.

Arriving at Ellis Island with little more than two hundred dollars, Rinaldo made his way to Memphis with something more precious than gold: la cucina Toscana.
